The Great Couples
Date Night was in full effect on last Friday. We held our first event for The Great Couples which was a cooking class featuring Chef Martin from Desire Catering. The night consisted of laughter, cooking, and a great meal. This with a glass of wine led to a night filled with great vibes and connections.
The night started off with socializing among couples as we checked in guests. Then we moved on to the cooking portion of the class, taught by Chef Martin. He guided us through the night with preparing a savory meal that consisted of jerk chicken, kale & butternut squash hash, and roasted cauliflower. This was his first cooking class, but that didn’t slow him down from teaching everyone how to properly cook a delicious meal.
After slicing and dicing the vegetables, we moved into the demonstration part of the class. This is where Chef Martin walked us through making the green curry sauce and searing the chicken breasts. During the end of the demonstration, we started passing out our first glasses of wine to compliment our meal.
Once the demonstration ended and the meal was fully prepared, it was time to enjoy our mouthwatering dish. We all joined family-styled as our guests partook of the meal and the room filled with couples mixing and mingling. As the night came to an end, you could feel connections being made.
This is exactly why we started The Great Couples. We want to build a community where couples can connect with other couples. Make sure follow on Instagram and like us on Facebook to stay up to date with future events. We have a lot in store! Until next time….
